HOW IT WORKS
Step 1 - Book and attend a FREE trial lesson
Step 2 - Enrol for weekly drum classes
We’ll place you in a small group with others of a similar age and ability, creating the perfect environment to learn, grow, and feel comfortable from the very start.
Suitable for students aged 5+.
Step 3 - Foundations through Fun
Begin our Foundations through Fun curriculum, designed in-house to build strong musical skills before quickly moving on to playing real music and your favourite songs.
Take part in one of our yearly concerts, playing in front of friends and family. Or even record a professional-style YouTube performance in our studio room.
Step 4 - Share your Skills

Group Tuition Fees
Tuition operates over 40 teaching weeks per year, with weekly 30-minute lessons following Cheshire West and Chester term dates.
Lessons are billed by monthly Direct Debit on the 1st of each month, helping spread the cost evenly across the year.
Groups are kept small, with a maximum of 4 students per group, ensuring a supportive environment with plenty of individual attention.
Private 1:1 Tuition Fees
One-to-one tuition operates over 40 teaching weeks per year, with weekly 30 minute lessons delivered by a designated tutor.

If you’re unable to attend a lesson, our online portal allows you to cancel and reschedule, helping ensure you never miss out on tuition.

Hobley Music School

Based in Winnington, Hobley Music School offers group drum lessons designed to bring musicians together in a fun, supportive learning environment. Our drum lessons are suitable for children, teens, and adults of all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced players.
Students learn as part of a small group, developing strong foundations, confidence, and real performance skills along the way. Weekly lessons follow our structured curriculum, before progressing onto playing real music and your favourite songs.
Alongside group lessons, 1:1 lessons are also available on a limited basis, subject to availability, for students who would benefit from a more individual approach.
Beyond lessons, students become part of a wider musical community, with opportunities to take part in concerts, recordings, and performance experiences that make learning the drums exciting and rewarding.
For students who wish to take graded exams, we offer preparation for Trinity, Rockschool, and ABRSM qualifications. Hobley Music School is a Trinity Recognised Exam Centre, and we’re proud to have a 100% exam pass rate to date.
